Easy Mail‑In Repair — From Anywhere in the U.S.

Montana Braille Wright makes it easy to send your brailler in for service from anywhere in the United States. Our mail‑in process is simple, secure, and designed to get your machine back to you quickly and in top working condition.

How the Process Works

  1. Complete the Repair Intake Form This gives us the information we need to begin your repair.

  2. Pack your brailler securely. Follow the packing instructions below to ensure safe transport.

  3. Ship your brailler to our Missoula workshop. Use “Free Matter for the Blind” shipping unless you prefer a faster paid service.

  4. We diagnose and provide a quote. You’ll receive a clear estimate before any work begins.

  5. You approve the repair. No surprises — we only proceed with your authorization.

  6. We repair and return your brailler. Your machine is shipped back using "Free Matter for the Blind" at no cost to you, unless you request a faster paid shipping method.

Packing Instructions

If you still have the original box and styrofoam insert:

  • Use them. They provide the safest and most secure fit for shipping a brailler.

If you do not have the original packaging:

  • Wrap the brailler in 2–3 layers of bubble wrap or foam

  • Use a sturdy box with at least 2 inches of padding on all sides

  • Avoid loose packing peanuts

  • Place the brailler in the center of the box with padding on every side

  • Include your intake confirmation sheet inside the box

Shipping Instructions

  For most customers:

Use “Free Matter for the Blind” shipping (see the PDF for a printable lable)
